Build cultures of appreciation where people feel valued, work feels easier, and change happens together.
& led cross-border dialogs between Israelis and Palestinians.
dialogs between senior UN leaders.
400+ people on the Boston subway about recognition.
with at-risk youth in the woods for two years.
with companies across 6 continents.
Lebanon for 4 years and Santiago, Chile for 6+ years.
But that’s not where the real culture-building work begins.
In a divided world, it has never been more important for us to create the conditions for people to authentically connect, understand each other’s humanity, and have the kind of meaningful interactions that lead to sustainable performance, deep impact, and lasting change at work. The problem is, leaders often unintentionally neglect their best people because they assume everything is okay.
After training over 20,000 people across 6 continents, 15+ countries, and most U.S. states, I can safely say:
Gift cards don’t change cultures; conversations do.
If we want people to feel truly seen, acknowledged, and valued so they can give their all, we have to go Beyond Thank You to have the conversations that transform how we work together.
When we go Beyond Thank You, we build organizations people are proud to call their own.
That means empowering leaders with the language, tools, and strategies they need to make authentic appreciation and recognition a daily habit—and a consistent part of your culture—so people show up and do their best work every day.
For over a decade, I’ve helped organizations build stronger cultures by teaching leaders how to create the conditions for meaningful dialogue.
From facilitating Israeli-Palestinian youth programs, running retreats for senior UN leaders, and interviewing 400+ Boston commuters about the role of recognition at work, I’ve uncovered what real matters to people.
Today, I share these lessons with organizations around the world, helping leaders learn how to have the conversations that matter most—and do the little things every day that make the biggest difference.

We loved him so much, we brought him back to present during our employee wellbeing summit this year. I left his keynote feeling energized and armed with helpful tools to help me engage and recognize my team. I look forward to working with him in the future!

“The best program ever! I loved every second. I felt myself on the verge of tears many times. It made me think about my role, my purpose, and how I contribute.”
When people feel valued in this way, they embrace their full potential—they stay longer, collaborate better, and drive measurable results. What begins as human connection becomes sustainable business performance.
